What is Dropshipping?
Drop shipping enables any business to instantly expand inventory without a financial investment. Items are listed on e-commerce channels and once sold - are purchased online from Eastwind Wholesale Gift Distributors - we do the rest!
Eastwind Gifts drop ships to your customers without requiring a minimum order or drop shipping fee. If you yearn to offer a wider product variety but don’t want to invest in inventory that may or may not sell – then we invite you to expand your current offerings with quality wholesale gifts from Eastwind Gifts Distributors!
Dropship Order Handling
Eastwind Wholesale Gift Distributors ships all orders in 1-3 business days with a packing slip detailing the items and quantities ordered. Packing slips do not include our company name or any pricing information. You may type up a 60 character message in the gift message field when placing your order; your message appears first on the packing slip. Tracking information is received via email.
Eastwind Gifts Distributors requires proof of your State sales tax registration to remove sales tax on your resale orders. Sales tax will be charged on all orders shipping into California and Texas; we will remove your sales tax post sale and email a correct receipt. Do not email your tax number; we must have a physical copy. Please email a scanned copy or your State sales tax registration to Customer Service or fax to 1.855.394.4388.
EIN/TIN number is accepted for businesses in the following locations: AK, DE, MT, NH, OR and foreign purchasers.
If you do not have a state sales permit, you may purchase on a taxable basis (Applies to California and Texas deliveries only).
How to Place Dropship Orders
Once you receive an order, simply place your dropship order at EastwindGifts.com. Your order will ship directly to your customer; however, correct billing information is required to prevent your order from being rejected. Type your customers shipping information in the shipping fields and your billing information in the billing fields. Receipts and tracking information will be received at the email address used at order placement so be sure to use your email address and phone number and not the recipient’s. Include your personalized fifty character message in the gift field (optional). If the order is shipping to California, type your sales tax id in the Sales Tax ID/EIN field. Your order is not complete until you “send order” and receive a confirmation page. If you have not submitted your sales tax registration, orders shipping into California will maintain the 7.50% sales tax charge. If you have submitted valid sales tax documentation, a second receipt will arrive via email. Tracking numbers will be emailed in 1-3 business days.
