Hey Ezra back with you and we are going to start actually thinking about who we might want to put an advertisement for our product in front of.
Before you start using any kind of actual Facebook advertising I highly recommend that you go ahead and read the Facebook ads policies so that you kind of understand what they do and don’t want you to do.
I could tell you all this stuff but Facebook explains it even better than I can.
Obviously because it’s their policy so you can go to facebook.com/policies/ads/ and you can get that policy.
Now what I want you to do is generalise your audience, so who do you think is going to like your product, who do you think is the most likely to buy your stuff.
I made a worksheet for you.
I called it the who what worksheet so like who are they and what do they like?
And using the who, you can set the demographic information as you will see in the next video.
And using the what, you can set the insights targeting, so basically, I want you to go through this worksheet.
Who are they?
Okay maybe they are mothers with children of Acne.
What age range do they fall in?
Maybe they are 30 and older.
How much do they earn?
Do they have children?
Are they in a relationship?
What location are they in?
New York, California all over the United States, so who are they?
And then what are they interested in, what news do they consume?
What television shows do they watch?
What internet sites do they visit?
Which products debate purchase?
Which brands are similar to your brands?
What stores do they shop at?
What food do they eat?
So, go ahead make a who what framework and copy down the questions from this video and make that framework and meet me in the next video where we will actually leverage that framework and that data that you came up with along with Facebook audience insights to build out a couple audiences of people we might target for our ads.
